This may look like a simple fan, but during these hot summer months, it can make a huge difference to someone. That's why United Way Galveston County Mainland has launched the Breeze Through the Summer program, which helps seniors (ages 60+) by providing free fans and other cooling items.
If you would like to help support their efforts, you can purchase items directly from the United Way's Amazon wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/.../ls/U9FB8ZU39M2P/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex
Volunteers are also needed to help deliver items to recipients across our area.
If you know someone 60 or older who lives in Galveston County and may need assistance from this program, you can nominate them by contacting the United Way or completing the form online at: https://www.uwgcm.org/breeze-through-the-summer-program/

A big thank you to Coffee Connection for partnering with Servolution Mainland to help provide 20,000 meals. By partnering with us we were able to put this awesome $2,000.00 gift towards feeding 100 kids in Haiti for a whole year through our Mission of Hope meal packing event today!

Thank you Galveston County Food Bank for the opportunity to come serve with y'all today! The food bank is doing amazing work to help people dealing with food insecurities. You can help too!!!

What is the 4B area?
The 4B area is the target region where we mobilize our network of churches and volunteers to reflect the gospel of Jesus Christ through serving people affected by disasters. The 4B area is from the Beltway to the Beach and Brazoria County to the Bay.

Y'all, Servolution Mainland was such an awesome event today! Over a 180 volunteers from 11 churches across Galveston County participated across our area and volunteered their time to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Here are pictures from one of our service projects where we did a Mission of Hope meal packing event. We had more than 75 people packing over 20,000 meals that will go to feed 100 children in Haiti for a year!!! Thank you to all those involved!
