I need to get real with you all.
Sugar was executed in Downey yesterday. She was only given two hours to be rescued. This is unacceptable!
The shelters in Los Angeles are slaughtering animals in record numbers. Mayor Karen Bass and the LA City Council have been avoiding taking a serious approach to this increasing problem for years.
What can you do?
*Foster or adopt if you can
*Support rescues with donations
*DO NOT BUY FROM BREEDERS
*Do not support breeders
*Write / call the mayor's office and your city council members
We can no longer sit back and expect rescue agencies and foster volunteers to fix this on their own. You need to speak up and demand change!
