Roughly 90% of homes in the U.S. have A/C, but in low income households, if they have one, the units are outdated and have very little efficiency, causing a higher rate of electric use(energy burden).
With heat waves set to increase, expanding high efficiency A/C access is, in more than one way, a life-saving measure we can carry out now.
Yet, despite their alarmist language, few politicians and activists mention this simple fact.
The Energy Burden Reduction Coalition will be working with low income households to install high efficiency A/C units in homes without A/C and upgrading households with window units and other outdated and inefficient units.
It is our mission that all low income households in our community have access to high efficiency A/C and heating!!!
Let us know if you would like to help our cause.
GOD Bless!!!
