Today we honor the women who prayed for us when we couldn’t pray for ourselves… the moms who never gave up, even in the hardest seasons.

At Restoration of Hope, we have seen the power of a mother’s love help rebuild lives, restore families, and remind our men that they are still worthy of grace, healing, and a fresh start.

To every mother, grandmother, stepmom, foster mom, and mother figure — thank you for the sacrifices, the late-night prayers, the unconditional love, and the strength you carry every single day.

And to the moms who are still waiting, hoping, and believing for restoration in their loved one’s life… don’t give up. Hope is alive. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Restoration of Hope. 🌷

Yesterday, we were honored to attend the National Day of Prayer in downtown Texarkana. What a powerful moment to stand surrounded by like-minded Christians, joining together in prayer over our city, our nation, and our community.

Our Executive Director, Bryan Minton, was asked to pray for healing from addiction, and we are incredibly thankful for every person who stood in agreement believing for restoration, freedom, and hope.

We love Texarkana and truly believe that through prayer, compassion, and community, we can make the world a better place by helping people one moment at a time. God calls us to be His hands and feet, showing love, grace, and hope to those who need it most. We are grateful to serve and walk alongside so many amazing people in this community.

Pastor Carroll delivered a powerful reminder on the importance of being quiet before God and simply becoming who He created us to be.

Like Zachariah, there are moments when God calls us to stillness—learning to listen, trust, and wait in His presence. In that quiet place, even when it seems like nothing is happening, God is already at work.

Zachariah’s story shows us that just before stepping into doubt and uncertainty, God was preparing a promise—a son who would be part of something far greater than he could see in the moment.

There is often a transition between the word spoken and the promise fulfilled, and in that space, God is moving.

Stay faithful. Stay still. Stay obedient. What God has promised is still on the way.

“Imperfect practice allows you to live imperfectly.”

Powerful word from Pastor Carmine Smith last night-challenging us to step out of the environments that keep us comfortable in our addiction, anger, and flesh. Growth doesn’t happen where comfort is fed… it happens when we choose what God has for us over what feels easy right now.

The promise isn’t in staying the same—it’s in the journey of obedience.

Time to move, time to trust, and time to walk into everything God has prepared 🙌

The men of Restoration of Hope laid their burdens down at the altar and left them at the feet of Jesus. Chains were broken, hearts were softened, and lives were changed. The old man is dying, and a new man is rising—one who is not ashamed to share his story so others can find Jesus Christ too.

Our testimonies matter. They speak life, bring hope, and lead others out of darkness.

Thank you, Ronald Brooks, for yielding to and obeying the Holy Spirit. Your message was a powerful reminder to us all.

Your testimony isn’t just your story—it’s your reminder. Every time you look back at what God has brought you through, it strengthens your faith and keeps you grounded in your walk with Him. What once tried to break you is now proof of His power in your life.

And the beautiful part? Your testimony doesn’t just help you—it encourages others. Someone else needs to hear how God made a way, how He restored, how He showed up right on time.

Don’t keep it to yourself. Share it.

Thank you Ronald Brooks for sharing the encouraging words about testimony and reminding us how powerful it is to speak about what God has done.

Come join us tonight 6PM and hear a powerful word from Pastor Carmine—you don’t want to miss what God is doing!

We came into this world with nothing, and when we leave, we take nothing with us… but I’m determined to leave on top because I have the Lord.

Last night Pastor Marquis’s message was a powerful reminder that it’s not about what we gain here—it’s about how we live. Doing right by God’s Word, choosing what’s right simply because it is right, and walking in obedience even when it’s hard.

We’re called to love each other enough to speak truth. To correct our brothers when they’re wrong—not in judgment, but in love—because it could save them from so much pain here on earth and ultimately lead them toward eternal life.

Real love tells the truth. Real faith lives it out. 🙏
