🇺🇸 We Will Never Forget — September 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, Marine Corps League Detachment 1149 had the honor of joining our community in remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and in recognition of the first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans whose courage and sacrifice defined that day and the days that followed.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11th, we extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who attended today’s ceremony. Seeing members of our community come together to remember and pay tribute made this year’s observance especially meaningful.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to those whose generosity, time, and support helped make today’s ceremony possible:

🇺🇸 Texarkana Convention Center
🇺🇸 Texarkana Young Marines
🇺🇸Texarkana Area Honor Guard

🇺🇸 Texarkana, Texas Fire Department
🇺🇸 Our first responders in attendance
🇺🇸 Krista Wright
🇺🇸 Scott Helberg
🇺🇸 Shorty’s Donuts
🇺🇸 Starbucks

Whether you donated, volunteered, participated in the ceremony, or simply took the time to stand with us in remembrance, thank you. Your support helped make today’s ceremony a fitting and memorable tribute.

Twenty-five years have passed, but our promise remains the same:

We remember those we lost.
We honor those who answered the call.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸
