2020 has been a hard year for everyone. It has especially been hard on the children currently undergoing treatment. They and their whole families have had to stay quarantined for extended periods of time to protect the children from exposure to the virus. Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation has been working tirelessly to help these families out by providing them with basic services, such as grocery deliveries.

We at Lemon Aid are proud to have partnered with them in their efforts and are so proud of our local community, for banding together to help us raise over $37,000 for this amazing cause.

With all of the struggles this past year, we know we’re are asking a lot of you all when we ask for donations, but the children afflicted by cancer are in more need than ever.

This year, our event will be 100% virtual. All we are asking is for you to visit our ALSF page and donate. Any amount will help us get close to our goal of $5,000. All of the money will go directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for immediate use in their relief efforts.

As an added bonus, we will be offering prizes to random donors. At the end of the event, just before Christmas, we will pick On-Line Donors at random, or receive one of several prizes we have collected.

Prizes include a COVID-19 Survival Gift Basket from Discount Madness as well as Visa and Amazon gift cards. Everyone who donates qualifies for a prize, regardless of how much you donate.

On top of donating, we are also asking for your help in getting the word out. Please go to your various social media and share our link. Help us spread the word and reach our $5000 goal. Together, we can fight childhood cancer, one cup a time.

Every day, 43 children, ages 0-19, are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. Every day, they wake up and fight for their lives—and hope for a brighter future. These kids are true heroes.

The fight against childhood cancer is about to get even stronger. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) is proud to announce that the I Care I Cure Childhood Cancer Foundation (ICIC) will join Team Alex.

Both founded by parents who have suffered the loss of a child to cancer, ALSF and ICIC have a deep understanding of the need for better treatments and more cures for all kids with cancer.

ICIC was founded by Beth and Brad Besner in honor of their son, Ian. At just 11 years old, Ian died from complications tied to his leukemia treatment. The Besners knew they needed to devote their efforts to educating the public about childhood cancer and finding better treatments. In 2009, ICIC was proud to first partner with ALSF and advance Alex Scott's mission to find cures for all kids with cancer.

ALSF looks forward to making a more powerful impact in the fight against childhood cancer with the continued support from the ICIC community.
