International Toastmasters week honors the role Toastmasters plays in developing communication, leadership, and public speaking skills that strengthen individuals, businesses, and communities.

May 4–9, 2026 has been officially proclaimed “Toastmasters International Week” in Illinois, recognizing the impact and service of four Toastmasters districts across the state: District 8, District 30, District 54, and District 103.

This proclamation highlights the role Toastmasters plays in developing communication, leadership, and public speaking skills that strengthen individuals, businesses, and communities throughout Illinois.

We'd love to see you!

Guests are Welcomed at our monthly meeting. It is really the best way to learn about Toastmasters and find out how you can add value to your leadership and communication skills.

Is it time to scale up? Your learning is supported all along the way. The atmosphere is always friendly and supportive. For you the Risks are low and Rewards are high.

The Club had a great meeting last night with speeches by Cari Buehnerkemper - 4 Communication Styles, and Henry Richard Siemer - An Overview of AI. President Linda Mette led Table Topics with some inspiration from above - no kidding!

Officers for the next year were selected and a closing highlight was welcoming and meeting 2 guests who are exploring membership for professional as well as life skills enhancement.

NEXT MEETING JULY 10, 6pm.
