๐ For the fifth consecutive year, the Teutopolis Civic Club was proud to present our Merit Awards during Honors Night, recognizing two graduating seniors who exemplify excellence not only in academics, but also in character, leadership, and service to others. This year, we were also excited to increase each award to $1,500! ๐
Congratulations to this yearโs recipients, Claire Overbeck and Inman Wendt! ๐
Both students were nominated by Teutopolis High School teachers, administrators, and staff for consistently demonstrating kindness, compassion, integrity, and respect. These are students who donโt simply meet expectations, they exceed them through their actions at school and throughout the community. โค๏ธ
Staff members described Claire as โrespectful toward all school personnel as well as her peers.โ They noted that she โmaintains a positive personality and approaches every situation with grace,โ and that she is โhumble and committed to a life of service.โ ๐
Inman was recognized for embodying the exact qualities this award was created to celebrate. One teacher shared that โhe is often overlooked because of his quiet presence, but he consistently exhibits integrity and a positive attitude.โ ๐
Claire and Inman, the Teutopolis Civic Club is incredibly proud of the example you set for others. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! ๐
Congratulations to the entire Class of 2026! ๐๐
