Inspiring and connecting women to thrive as leaders.

10/20/2026

Today we’re celebrating an incredible Womentum leader who embodies our mission of inspiring and connecting women to thrive as leaders. ✨ Meet new Board Member and Womentoring Alumna KJ Morris! ✨

KJ is a designer, community leader, and nonprofit founder who has called Jackson home for more than 25 years. She is the co-founder of the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum, where her vision, creativity, and collaborative leadership helped transform a community dream into a thriving nonprofit.

Throughout her career, KJ has combined design expertise with a deep commitment to civic engagement. She previously served as Executive Director of AIA Wyoming (state chapter of American Institute of Architects) and has volunteered with numerous local organizations, including Womentum (in 2009 and 2015!), pARTners, and the Town of Jackson Design Review Committee. She has also contributed to local and regional political campaigns, strengthening her connections throughout the community.

KJ brings to Womentum a passion for building meaningful partnerships, fostering inclusive communities, and helping organizations grow through thoughtful leadership and collaboration.

Please join us in welcoming KJ to the Board! We are so excited for the fresh ideas and enthusiasm she will bring to our Board and community. 👏

✨ Alumnae Spotlight: Rani Carr ✨
Womentum has been an important part of Rani’s leadership journey. What began as a mentorship experience has grown into lasting friendships, continued learning, and the opportunity to give back as a member of the Womentum Alumnae Outreach Committee.

Professionally, Rani is the General Manager of Tammah Jackson Hole, where she recently expanded her role to include revenue management across a portfolio of hospitality properties. She enjoys combining strategy, analytics, and leadership to create exceptional guest experiences while supporting her team.

Outside of work, Rani is passionate about serving her community. She has volunteered with Hole Food Rescue since 2015 and also serves on the board of KHOL Community Radio.

One of the most meaningful parts of her life is volunteering with Casting for Recovery Wyoming. As a past retreat participant, she experienced firsthand the healing and connection the program provides to women with breast cancer. Today, she helps create those same experiences for others through fundraising, events, and outreach.

Whether through her career or volunteer work, Rani believes in creating spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and empowered. Womentum has reinforced that leadership is about lifting others up, and she is grateful to continue that work in her career, her community, and alongside fellow alumnae.

Recognize any familiar faces? We’re thrilled to officially introduce the world to our 2026 - 2027 Womentoring Cohort!

Over the next nine months, these 30 remarkable women will join a community rooted in openness, collaboration, balance, and growth, while connecting with the 500+ women who make Womentum thrive.

We kicked off their program a couple weeks ago and since then they’ve pulled off some impressively silly contortions on the Teton Science Schools ropes course. We’ll be sharing those gems with you soon! In the meantime, these are a couple special moments from the dinner hosted by the incredible Teton Raptor Center and catered by the delicious Jedidiah’s Catering, whose support made the festive evening possible.

**Keep your eyes peeled for our eNews that will unveil the names of our 30 incredible cohort members**

We can’t wait to witness the growth, connection, and transformation ahead. Onward to a powerful year of Womentoring! 🌱

Women help women bloom. 🌸 For Womentum Board Member Karen Terra, that truth is deeply personal. For more than 40 years, her friend and business partner showed her that being a leader means showing up with your best self every day and Karen carries her friend’s confidence in her in every room she enters.

That is the power of women investing in women and it’s at the heart of Womentum. Our mentoring program creates a ripple effect of blossoms: 9 out of 10 mentees graduate and see themselves as future mentors.

This Old Bill’s season, Karen invites you to join her in making a gift to Womentum.

Your gift through Old Bill’s Fun Run supports Womentum’s work to help more women in our community find the connection, confidence, and support they need to bloom.

Thank you to the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole for hosting such a transformational community gathering and to all those who have helped you bloom!

It was just over a year ago that in partnership with the Teton County Library with funding from the Teton County Library Foundation & Friends, we hosted renowned historian and activist Elisabeth Griffith to share from her new book Formidable: American Women and the Fight For Equality.

She explored how women – who were once denied basic legal rights – have driven transformative change, from advancing civil rights to amending the Constitution.

Who might come to mind when you reflect on this statement?

Griffith’s last words, shared to a full room of people of all ages and genders, were “Power on, ladies.” 💫
