🌿 A day of connection, learning, listening, and celebration.🌿 Our TMC staff came together for a day of shared experiences—from the grounding sounds of a sound bath and the joyful energy of West African drumming, to learning more about what’s in the drugs we encounter in our work and listening to a beautiful story that invited us to reflect on our relationship and connection to nature. Most importantly, we came together as one to meet, connect, and practice the art of truly listening to one another. We’re grateful for the people, stories, knowledge, and connections that make The Mountain Center so special. 🏔️✨

MORE THAN A MEETING 💛

Our TMC Operations Meeting was a day of connection, collaboration, learning, and teamwork!

We came together across departments to share updates, learn more about each other’s work and needs, and better understand how our roles connect across TMC.

We toured our Harm Reduction facility, helped with vehicle inspections and landscaping, created care packages for clients, and tackled crisis management training as a team — leaving with action plans to put into practice. 💪

A day filled with learning, helping, and supporting one another. So grateful for this team and the work we get to do together! 💛

Definitely more than a meeting. 😊

Wild Joy—For a More Beautiful Now: Inspired and Informed by Nature
The Mountain Center invites you to the launch of our "Community Enrichment Gatherings," a new series designed to foster connection, groundedness, and personal transformation.

The inaugural event will feature renowned author and wilderness guide Larry Glover, MSW, for a book reading and conversation titled Wild Joy, Ecospiritual Encounters with Nature as Teacher, Healer, and Lover.

Join us for an inspiring and provocative book reading and conversation. Larry's three-time award-winning book is an intimate and courageous memoir exploring the deep ecological dynamics of personal and collective transformation our burning times invite us into.

The gathering will take place on Sunday, June 7th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at The Mountain Center’s campus in Santa Fe. Doors open at 12:30. The event is free and open to all ages, though space is limited and RSVPs are required.
