Are you navigating the ups and downs of supporting a loved one who is experiencing substance use challenges? ๐Ÿค
It is deeply painful to watch someone you care about go through a difficult time, and it is completely normal to feel overwhelmed or unsure of how to help. You might have heard that "tough love" or waiting for a crisis are the only options, but there is a collaborative, evidence-based path forward.
It is called CRAFT (Community Reinforcement a nd Family Training).
Instead of confrontation, CRAFT focuses on positive reinforcement, healthy boundary-setting, and compassionate communication. It honors the bond you share with your loved one, motivates them toward wellness and support systems, and prioritizes your mental health and self-care.
Why families trust the CRAFT model:

โ€ข ๐Ÿค Proven Connection: Studies show that when family members practice CRAFT skills, about 70% of loved ones choose to engage with professional support or treatment.

โ€ข ๐ŸŒฑ Holistic Well-being: CRAFT is proven to significantly lower stress, anxiety, and depression for family members, helping you
heal alongside your loved one.

Join Our Upcoming Group
If you are looking for a supportive environment to learn these skills and connect with others who understand, we will be starting a new CRAFT group soon. You do not have to carry this alone. Healing is a journey best taken together, and your well-being matters just as much as your loved one's. โœจ

Chestnut Health Systems is launching an exciting new program designed to support young adults struggling with substance use and the families who care about them.

โ€ข Compensation for time spent giving feedback to the research team
โ€ข A chance to help shape better services for families just like yours
