📢 EAP APPLICATION REMINDER

When applying for Energy Assistance, please make sure you provide ALL required information and documents with your application.

✅ Social Security numbers for all household members
✅ Dates of birth for all household members
✅ Proof of household income
✅ A copy of your current utility bill

⚠️ IMPORTANT: EAP is moving to a new application system. EAP staff will have limited access to information from the previous system, and your information will NOT automatically carry over to the new system.

To help prevent delays in processing your application, please provide all requested information and documentation when you apply.

🚨 NEW ENERGY ASSISTANCE ONLINE SYSTEM COMING OCTOBER 1, 2026! 🚨

WICAA’s Energy Assistance Program will be launching a new online application system on October 1, 2026!

Please note: EAP Connect is no longer being used. Any documents uploaded to the old EAP Connect system will not be seen or processed.

Our new system is designed to be more user-friendly and will provide applicants with more updates throughout the application process.

We are also excited that vendors will receive live updates, helping improve communication and provide more timely information.

Would you like a little more spending money?
Our classroom Grandmas and Grandpas volunteer in the classrooms in Vigo County School Corporation. They get $4 an hour for all the time they serve from a non-taxable stipend that cannot be counted as income, it cannot raise your rent or reduce any assistance you receive.
We would love to find a few more volunteers for our schools. If you are interested or know someone you think would be a good fit, reach out to my office. (812) 242-6221.
