Last minute notice but the April chapter hangout will be this Thursday, April 9th, 7PM at the Rod and Gun Club. Hope to see you there!

It's time to bring this chapter out of hibernation. With the monthly meeting location still uncertain, we will have our first 2026 chapter meeting at Rod & Gun Club on March 12th. I'll have to check with Bobby (the owner) but it will likely be at 7:00PM.

If you are planning to attend, please RSVP to me via phone call or email me at [email protected] by March 10th.

Topics for the meeting will include future meeting location and chapter activities.

Holiday dinner will be at Rod & Gun Club on December 11th at 7PM. Please let me know if you will be attending so I can get a headcount.

It was decided at September's chapter meeting that we will not have a meeting in November or December. We plan to have our winter get-together in early December so be on the lookout for more details as the season approaches.

In other news, the weather has been spectacular for flying and plans stay that way. Get those props spinning!

Best wishes and Happy Birthday to Captain Dan Lutz who retired from American Airlines this week after 40 years as a professional pilot. Dan signed off with a trip to and from Rome. Our sympathies are with you as you adjust to traveling in the much smaller Cessan 310.

August chapter meeting is this Thursday (14th) at 6:00pm. As always, there will be food and conversation. Topics will include a recap of the July fly-in and info about the changes at Sky King.

It was a great turnout Saturday for the Vintage Fly-in. For those who could fly-in, there was a variety of different aircraft for all to see. The tables were full at lunch and the crowd at the piano burning was even better. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped prep during the week, donate food, cook and cleanup.

May you all have more great flying adventures and we look forward to seeing you again!
