💜 2026 Swing for a Cure 💜

We were so thankful to have the opportunity to meet with the recipients of the 2026 Swing for a Cure tonight. It was truly a special evening and a reminder of exactly why we do what we do.

Hearing their stories, meeting their families, and being able to provide a little financial assistance during such a difficult time means more to us than words can express.

This tournament is so much more than softball. It’s about coming together as a community, supporting one another, and making a difference in the lives of local families battling cancer. 💜

Thank you to every team, player, coach, family member, umpire, volunteer, sponsor, and donor who helped make this year possible. Because of you, we were able to give back to families who truly need it.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of Swing for a Cure. 🥎💜

💜🥎 17th Annual Swing for a Cure-THANK YOU!

Swing for a Cure-THMSA would like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in the 17th Annual Swing for a Cure Tournament!

This year, we raised an incredible $36,484, bringing our 17-year total to $443,716!!! 🎉💜

We are so excited to be able to disburse these proceeds to our recipients and provide support to families in our community who are battling cancer. This would not be possible without the incredible support of every team, player, coach, family member, umpire, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this tournament such a success.

There are truly SO many people to thank for two amazing weekends of softball!

💜 Thank you to the THMSA Board members and to all of the teams who volunteered their time to help at the ballpark throughout the tournament. This event takes months of preparation, and it is made possible by an amazing team of volunteers who work behind the scenes long before the first pitch is thrown.

❤️A very special thank you to Anastasia Newman and Angela Tanner for the countless hours they poured into this tournament, not just during the two tournament weekends, but throughout the many months of preparation leading up to it. Your dedication does not go unnoticed!

🥎 Thank you to Carlos Young for his work as our UIC this year. Our fields were covered with great umpires both weekends, and we are incredibly grateful to the umpires who even donated games back to the cause!

💜 We also want to thank the many local businesses who supported Swing for a Cure in so many different ways, from silent auction donations to monetary contributions and everything in between. Your generosity means so much to us and to the families who will benefit from these proceeds.

At the end of the day, Swing for a Cure is about so much more than softball. It is about coming together as a community, supporting one another, and making a difference for families who need it most.

$443,716 raised over 17 years.
That is a lot of softball, a lot of volunteers, and a whole lot of 💜.

Thank you again to EVERYONE who played a part in making the 2026 Swing for a Cure so special!

We are already looking forward to the 2027 Swing for a Cure!
