As most of you already know, John is currently facing some unexpected health challenges. These are circumstances none of us anticipated or planned for, and they have led to some important decisions about the future of the PO2.
First and foremost, we want to thank each and every one of you for the support you've shown John and the PO2 over the past eight years. Your loyalty, friendship, and encouragement have helped make this place what it is today. Without all of you, none of this would have been possible.
To ensure that the PO2, and the family of friends we've built here, continues for years to come, John has made the decision to turn the business over to Misty Roy and Jesse Keller effective July 1, 2026.
As part of this transition, the establishment will be renamed JB's Rusty Rail Tavern in honor of John and the legacy he has created. Our commitment is to continue serving our customers, friends, family, and community with the same dedication, hospitality, and sense of belonging that John has always provided.
John's dream of owning and operating this bar will continue to live on through Misty, Jesse, and JB's Rusty Rail Tavern. We look forward to continuing this journey together and hope you'll join us as we begin this new chapter while honoring the one that made it all possible.
