The Terra Alta Civic Club, Terra Alta Together Cemeteries Committee, Terra Alta Girl Scout Troup 10614 and parents, Cadets from the Mountaineer Challenge Academy and community members from Terra Alta and Alpine Lake participated in picking up wreaths and cleaning up the Terra Alta and Mary Help of Christians Cemeteries in preparation for mowing and maintenance.

The TACC is grateful to the Terra Alta community for their four years of support and, most importantly, for their dedication to local veterans.

Wreaths Across America National Laying Day

Thank you to the volunteers who braved the cold weather and wind to honor and remember our local veterans here at the Terra Alta cemetery!

Its' TIME!!!!!!
Mother Nature will not stop the delivery of our wreaths tomorrow (Thursday). Arriving at the Sanders Street barn tomorrow morning around 10:30/11 am, the truck is to be there.

Any assistance to help unload would be much appreciated. About 30-minutes max if you can assist.

Preparing for Wreaths Across America
Marking veteran's graves with flags
Tomorrow, Saturday, December 6 at 1 pm

Meet at the chapel at the top of the hill for about an hour. Dress warmly and wear sturdy boots.

National wreath laying day
Saturday, December 13

The ceremony will be at the Terra Alta Funeral/event center (just past the Shop n Save) at 10 am.

Volunteers for placing the wreaths after the ceremony for about 90-minutes. We will meet to place wreaths at 11 am to give those who want to attend the meeting time to get to the chapel. We will meet at the cemetery chapel for maps and directions both days.
