It is with profound sadness that we join the Bujas and Brkic families in announcing the sudden passing of longtime parishioner and former parish administrator, Nancy Bujas-Brkic on Thursday, November 4, 2021.

Nancy was a sincerely loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and beloved friend to all who were fortunate enough to know and be touched by her gracious and glowing spirit.
Nancy was born in the Bronx, New York on December 14, 1975 to Maria Lovric Bujas and Milivoj Bujas. She is survived by her loving husband, Anton, precious daughter Sofia (10), mother, Maria, father, Milivoj, brother, Mario (Marilyn), mother-in-law, Zorka Brkic, brother-in-law Mario Brkic, nieces Sabrina and Elizabeth Bujas, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins as well as innumerable friends around the world.

With the heaviest of hearts, we are shocked and saddened to announce the passing of our dear CNYLA member, Nancy Brkic. Nancy was always proud of her Croatian heritage. She consistently volunteered her time at St. Anthony Croatian Catholic Church and joined us on numerous cruises. Her uplifting energy and never ending support of her friends and family will never be forgotten. Please take a moment to remember her and say a prayer for her dear husband and daughter. 🙏✝️Počivaj u miru✝️🙏

We keep saying this year can't get any worse. Unfortunately, it keeps going downhill. Mother nature does not seem to be done. Croatia has been hit by another major earthquake. Tragedy has struck for the people of Petrinja and Sisak. If you can help, please find the below link from the Croatian Red Cross. It reads in English so please share to friends and family.
