Interested in helping make Templeton an even better place to live?

The Templeton Community Betterment Association (TCBA) is looking for community members who are interested in serving on our Board of Directors!

The TCBA organizes many of the events that bring our community together, including:
⚾ Slow Pitch Tournament
🎄 Christmas Social
🥚 Easter Egg Hunt
⛳ Putting Around Town
🎉 And many other community fundraisers and friend-raisers throughout the year!

The TCBA Board consists of 7 members, each serving a 2-year term. To provide continuity, terms are staggered, with either 3 or 4 seats up for election each year.

This year, 4 board seats are open. Anyone interested in serving will have their name placed on the October community ballot, where Templeton residents will vote to fill the open positions.

If you’re passionate about our community, enjoy working with others, or simply want to help make Templeton a great place to live, we’d love to have you consider serving!

If you’re interested or have questions, comment below, send us a message, or reach out to any current TCBA board member before SEPTEMBER 1st. We’d be happy to visit with you!

⚾️🏆 Now that the dust has settled (and we’ve finally caught our breath), it’s time to give a huge congratulations to Wasted Grain for taking home the championship trophy at the 2026 Templeton Slowpitch Tournament! 🏆⚾️

A big shoutout also goes to all of the teams who came out, competed, and gave it their all throughout the week. The competition was fierce, the games were exciting, and the sportsmanship was second to none!

Of course, an event of this size doesn’t happen without an incredible army of volunteers. Thank you to everyone who worked the food and beverage stands, grilled, collected admission, announced games, kept stats, helped with the score board, sang the National Anthem, picked up trash, hauled supplies, and stepped in wherever an extra hand was needed. Your time, energy, and dedication are what make this tournament possible.

The Templeton Slowpitch Tournament is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and thanks to the support of our players, spectators, and volunteers, we knocked it out of the park once again! 💥⚾️

The funds raised will go right back into our community through future projects and improvements that help make Templeton a great place to live, work, and play.

Thank you all for another amazing tournament. We couldn’t do it without you, and we can’t wait to see everyone back at the ballpark next year!
