📢 Bell County Composite Squadron: Great Start Field Day Recap! 🚀

This past Saturday, our squadron had an outstanding **Great Start Field Day**, where both **Great Start Cadets** and **current Cadets** engaged in a day full of learning, leadership, and teamwork! 💪✨

🛫 Activities Included:
✅ Drill practice to sharpen military bearing
✅ Physical Training (PT) to build strength and endurance
✅ Great Start Cadet Classes on uniforms, the wingman concept, aerospace, and Learn to Lead

A huge THANK YOU to all Cadets and Senior Members who helped make this event a success! Your dedication and enthusiasm continue to make our squadron stronger. 👏👏

🎉Final Meeting of 2024: A Year to Remember!🎉

Monday evening, December 16, 2024, we held our final meeting of the year, complete with our final promotions. Congratulations to all those who advanced in rank - your hard work and dedication inspire us all! 🌟

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to our success this year - our members, parents, volunteers, and community supporters. Together, we've built a year full of growth, learning, and wonderful memories.

Here's to an even brighter 2025! We can't wait to see what we'll accomplish together next year.

Honoring Our Heroes with Wreaths Across America

Saturday, December 14, 2024, Our cadets had the honor of participating in Wreaths Across America by laying wreaths at Killeen Cemetery. This solemn act is a small but heartfelt way to remember the courageous me and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and to honor their families who carry their legacy.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who donated and supported this important mission. Your generosity ensures that our fallen heroes are never forgotten.

It was a privilege to stand together as a community, honoring those who gave so much for our freedom. Their sacrifices will always inspire us to serve with dedication and gratitude.

Monday evening, the Bell County Composite Squadron had the privilege of visiting CSI Aviation in Killeen. A huge thank you to everyone from CSI for their incredible hospitality and for sharing such fascinating information with us. Your experience and knowledge made our visit truly interesting. Thank you CSI!

We're thrilled to share that we've reached 80.6% of our fundraising goal! A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far—your generosity is truly making a difference.

However, the cemetery we support is still only at 18.2% of its goal. 1,317 additional fallen veterans remain without a sponsor. Let's keep the momentum going! Please share our fundraiser details with your friends and family to help us reach 100%. Force us to raise our goal! Together, we can honor as many veterans as possible and show our appreciation for their incredible sacrifices.

Our squadron earns a small portion of each wreath sponsorship, which we use to further our mission: Volunteers Serving America’s Communities, Saving Lives, and Shaping Futures.

Today, our cadets had a blast diving into hands-on learning with our STEM kits! 🛠️ From building and experimenting to problem-solving and creating, they explored the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math — all while having tons of fun! 😄👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

🚀 Rocketry Academy (Day 1) 9 Nov 2023 🚀

Our talented cadets have been hard at work at the Rocketry Academy, and we’re thrilled to announce that they’ve successfully built FIVE rockets! 🎉 These impressive creations are a testament to the teamwork, creativity, and dedication of our cadets. Here’s a glimpse of the rockets they’ve built:

Goddard Rocket – Paying homage to the father of modern rocketry, Robert Goddard, this rocket is a nod to the history and innovation of space exploration! 🚀🌌
Fizzy Flyer – A fun, fizzy twist on rocketry that demonstrates our cadets' creative approach to building and launching. 🧪💥
Alpha – A classic beginner rocket that marks the start of many young rocketeers’ journeys. 🎯
Alpha III – An upgraded version of the Alpha, showcasing the cadets’ growing skills and knowledge in rocketry! 🔧🔩
Green Egg – A rocket that launches with a payload instead of only a parachute 🥚🪂
