We are looking for 8 muralists or graffiti artists to paint sections of our shipping container at the art show on July 18th!

We are also accepting artwork currently to be displayed on both nights of the art show. This can be ANY kind of art. The subject is the beauty in people, thats the only requirement. We have had some amazing art over the last few years and we want YOU to be a part this year. Cant wait to see yall there!

The SunRISE Center got a little bit brighter this week thanks to the Perfectly Imperfect Women's small group at . They donated these garden pavers that one of our art classes painted.

Thursday- 8am .fms bible study with

Thursday- 6pm Koinonia at The Table (main cafe). Join us for dinner and table discussions.

Friday- 7am-1:30pm Cafe Soleil is open for breakfast and lunch! Come stop by for delicious food or fresh squeezed juices.

Always great to have student ministry with us! They have taken on completely supplying one of the tiny homes at Elizabeth's Farm. They started the painting this weekend and also went shopping! They bought everything a home could need!

We are so thankful for their friendship and their passion for people!

Psalm 46:10
"Be still and Know that I am God"

Some versions say cease striving instead of Be still.

This verse is an invitation to know God. God is calling each of us to a true knowing and relationship with himself.

We do that by being still. To cease striving.

Striving to carry our own burdens.
Striving to lean on our own understanding.
Striving to earn grace that is freely given.

Knowing him is resting in him.

The verse before and after both say "the God of Jacob is our refuge"

It could have said the God of Abraham or the God of Israel but it specifically identifies the God of Jacob.

Jacob was the one who wrestled with God and would be marked for the rest of his life and would eventually be named Israel.

This is not by mistake. It is a reminder to all of those who wrestle and strive to find rest and refuge in knowing God and knowing he is faithful to his word.

This time these awesome students came out to the farm and it was so fun.....and hot.
