Vision and Mission
Vernon L. Busby Holy Royal Arch 147 is a non-profit organization which embodies and attractive system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols. The fraternity, founded upon Christian principles established in the Holy Bible, strives to teach a man the duty he owes to God, his neighbor, and to himself. Our intent is to live by the teachings and emulating the principles of Brotherly Love, Tolerance, Charity and actively embrace high social, moral and spiritual values dedicated to God and Family. but does not interfere with religion or politics as it prescribes the practice of virtues in the conduct of its business. The foundation is Character, it’s purpose is Service, Its measure is giving; making "Good Men Better" perpetuates its foundation. Its purpose is service, which is rendered to the people of Temple Texas and its surrounding areas to improve their social, cultural, and economic conditions. Its measure is giving, an act of unselfish sacrifice for the benefit of others.
Vernon L. Busby Holy Royal Arch UD mission is to provide programs that are centered on mentorship, local community support, homeless shelters, community service, Christmas toy drive and local school district support with school supplies, Senior Cap and gown and a possible Scholarship foundation these areas will be made possible by fundraising and donations. The mission's statement is promulgated by the Most Excellent Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Holy Royal Arch Masons of Texas and its Jurisdiction and by its Supreme Authority.
