We were so proud of these 2 ladies/members for consistently helping with our projects, that we donated $500 in honor of each of them to the Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation, which pays for hearing aids and cataract surgeries. The awards were presented by our president Steve Nelson.

Our latest Melvin Jones Fellowship went to a member who was instrumental in the existence of the Greenville Lioness Club before she joined the Souhegan Lions Club. She always helps with our Warm Clothing Drive and continues to be very active in her church. In her name, we donated $1000 to Lions Club International for charity efforts that require the aid of people from all over the globe.

We held another successful Draw Your Mother contest. This little girl took the silver in the 5 and Under category and helpfully pointed to her entry. Some of the winners joined us at the Mother's Day breakfast where the winning entries were displayed.

This is our latest bench we're donating as a result of the Trex plastic recycling program we have been participating in. Thanks to all those who donate their clean #2 and #4 plastic bags to us at the Wilton Recycling Center or Mansfield Library. We also get significant contributions from the Temple General Store and Maple Station. This bench is destined for Temple Ball Field this spring.
