Strong families don’t just happen—they’re built. The Positive Parenting and Partnership Program (P3) is a project of Champions for Children.

Join the P3 Program today and take the next step toward a stronger, more connected family by gaining knowledge and boosting your confidence as a partner and parent. Using a public health model, the P3 program provides educational workshops and wrap around services. What does your family look like? Mom and Dad with two children, Two dads with a new baby, Mom and Grandma with 3 children, foster pare

nt, newlyweds, single parent? However, your family looks we want to support you in creating a firm foundation. You are the expert on your family and at P3; we can support you with tools for improved communication, managing stress and anger. We will also offer strategies to help you encourage positive behaviors for your children, establish family rules and boundaries, manage those unwanted behaviors when they occur and so much more! Join P3 for a workshop that includes a family educational packet, access to a Family Champion and a financial and job coach. When joined by a Family Champion your family will have access to individualized services that you design. These could include resources for you and your family to help locate support for your children, partner or family member in the community and much more. Please note that as of October 1, 2025, Champions for Children’s Positive Parenting & Partnership (P3) Program has been discontinued due to the loss of federal funding.

We are no longer able to offer services through the P3 program.
We understand this news may be disappointing, and we want to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported and benefited from the program. We are incredibly proud of the work accomplished and the positive impact the program has had on the community. While this program has ended, Champions for Children remains committed to supporting families in our community and continues to seek new ways to serve.

Parenting is beautiful.. and let’s be honest, it’s also a lot. Between work, house chores, and our little ones’ needs, its easy to put ourselves last on the list. But here’s the truth: caring for yourself is caring for your family.

One of our favorite ways to recharge is what I call the 20 minute reset..
1. Choose a quiet spot - your bedroom, the backyard, or even your parked car. 2. Disconnect - put your phone on silent and let someone else handle things for a bit. 3. Do something that fills you up - read a chapter of a book, sip your coffee slowly, play your favorite song and sing out-loud, or simply sit in silence.   And, if 20 minutes feel imposible? Try the 5 minute version: - Step outside and take 10 slow breaths. - Sip your coffee without multitasking - Play your favorite song and just listen  Small pauses = big impact on your patience, presence, and joy.   Which one will you try today?

Calling all Temple Terrace families! ✨🌈 Join Rainbow Bright Circle Time for a morning of stories, songs, crafts, and fun learning activities! Perfect for kiddos aged 2-5, this program at the Children’s Board Family Resource Centers helps build social skills, early literacy, and a love of learning in a warm and welcoming environment. To participate, sign up for a FREE membership!
Various locations are available, each location has different events and activities.

PLUS: Champions for Children will be holding a Toilet Training and Parenting workshop at this location! If you’re interested, reach out to us so we can help you register and sign up!

No one wants to think about planning for incapacities, however it is a necessary one living in the world that we live in. One way to protect and love your family is to have an Estate Plan. An Estate plan allows you to appoint a guardian for your minor children, ensuring their care and support if you are unable to do so. You can also establish a trust to manage their inheritance until they reach a certain age. It can also ensure your assets are distributed the way that you want. It can reduce legal and tax difficulties, avoid family conflicts, plans for Incapacity and death. On August 7, 2025 from 10:00am-11:15am we will be sharing tips on how to create an estate plan, and you’ll be able to ask any questions you have.
