Huge thank you to everyone who came out to Karaoke for Socks at Hook & Reel and showed up with great energy and even greater hearts. For the past several years, this event has been about more than just singing—it’s about giving back.

This year, because of your generosity, we were proud to donate socks to The House DC, helping support those in need right here in our community.

Special shoutout to Porchia for organizing and hosting an amazing night, and to everyone who donated, sang their hearts out, and helped make this event a success.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and participated in the Goombay Cares Trunk or Treat hosted by Momma Mo You all did a fabulous job bringing the Halloween spirit to life — the kids had an amazing time! 🧡

Big shout-out to .homes and for providing the moon bounce fun and to all the parents who decorated their trunks and handed out candy — your creativity and energy made the event extra special! 🍬🚗

What an amazing weekend at Assateague Island for our Annual Goombay Cares Family Beach Camping Trip! We want to send a huge THANK YOU to all the families who came out and made this experience unforgettable.

From Beach Wars and kayaking adventures, to our cozy campfires, relaxing beach time, and the special moments shared during our family dinner and campfire s’mores, this weekend was filled with laughter, bonding, and beautiful memories.

The kids had a blast, and it was so heartwarming to see parents connecting, kids making new friends, and no one was on their cell phones the entire weekend.

To the parents—thank you for bringing the energy, love, and support. Camping on the beach for 3-4 days with your kids, is no easy task, so we appreciate all your hard work. the kids—thank you for being open to try new experiences and we hope you learned something about yourself this past weekend.
