Donation information for a music scholarship in memory of Jake Ferntheil can be found at the Temple City Schools Foundation site,

This scholarship, in memory of former TCHS student and musician Jake Ferntheil, will be awarded to a student involved in the Pit Orchestra for the annual March Musical Production.

In 2025 Temple City High School will celebrate their 60th anniversary of offering a musical production. The first one was Li'l Abner and it was held at San Gabriel High School (all subsequent productions were at the Mission Playhouse). This is the official program cover for the first musical. Ticket prices were $1.25 and $1.75. The next musical to be offered by TCHS will be Anything Goes. Make a plan to see it on March 14, 15 or 16. Also, stay tuned for information on a special 60th anniversary alumni show to be held in the afternoon on March 15.
