Families of HSS Temple City & Arcadia chapters came together to celebrate Teachers and Educators during the Guru Vandana - 2026 event. In all, 16 teachers from AUSD and TCUSD graced the occasion, including TCUSD Superintendent Dr. Art Cunha. Children showcased cultural performances and honored teachers in the traditional Hindu way with gratitude and respect. The event also featured engaging activities, community fellowship, and delicious Indian food.

HSS sincerely appreciates all the Teachers & Educators for their hard work and dedication in enriching students’ lives. Special thanks to all the children, families, and HSS volunteers for making this year’s Guru Vandana a memorable and inspiring celebration. 🕉🕉🕉

Holi is more than just a festival of colors; it’s a celebration of unity.
This past weekend, Temple City and Arcadia chapters of HSS joined together for a celebration that was less about the mess and all about the bonds that tie them together.
We are also proud to share that all the colors used for this event were purchased as part of a fundraiser for Sewa USA. Every splash of color helped support vital service projects across the globe!

What an incredible display of discipline, tradition, and energy by the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh Ghosh (Band) at the Temple City Camellia Parade on Saturday, February 21! 🌸🥁

Marching with precision and pride, the Ghosh team added rhythm and vibrancy to the parade atmosphere. Their coordinated formations and traditional band presentation beautifully represented Hindu heritage and values to the wider community.

The Ghosh is not just a band — it symbolizes teamwork, discipline, dedication, and cultural pride. Seeing our youth and volunteers perform with such confidence was truly inspiring.

A heartfelt thank you to all the swayamsevaks who practiced tirelessly and represented our community with excellence. You made us proud! 🌺

What an incredible moment for our community! 🎉🌸

On Saturday, February 21, the Hindu community float proudly won the Theme Award at the Temple City Camellia Parade!

Our float was beautifully designed around the vibrant festival of Holi — the Hindu festival of colors that celebrates unity, joy, renewal, and the triumph of good over evil. Through bright colors, festive décor, and cultural symbolism, the float helped generate awareness about this cherished Hindu tradition among thousands of spectators.

This inspiring project was made possible by the collective efforts of several Dharmic organizations across the Los Angeles County San Gabriel Valley area. It truly showcased what unity and seva (selfless service) can accomplish when communities come together.

We are deeply grateful to the organizers of the Temple City Camellia Parade for providing a platform to celebrate diversity and culture.

Congratulations to all volunteers, artists, sponsors, and supporters who made this possible. This victory belongs to the entire community! ✨

On the occarion of 350th anniversary of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur ji’s mardyrdom, Volunteers of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh’s Poorv LA chapters sponsored and participated in Corona Gurudwara’s Langar Sewa and spread the message of “Hindu-Sikh Unity and Brotherhood”.

HSS chapters also collected and donated essential groceries to Gurudwara as part of Sewa Diwali.

The Granthis and Sikh brothers and sisters expressed their heartfelt appreciation and vowed to continue such collaborations in future for Hindu-Sikh unity. 🕉️🕉️

Poorv LA Vibhag Vijaya Dasami utsav 2025 in Shree Umiya Mataji community center in Norco, CA.
5 plus Shakhas came together to celebrate Vijaya Dasami in a collective and collaborative way.
Pradarshans from each Shakha, along with special pradarshans from sevikas, kishore(i)s, ghosh team, and Bala gana were the exhibits of discipline, commitment and practice over the weeks prior to the event.
Excellent planning resulted in a smooth karyakram and wonderful ex*****on.
Last but not the least, everyone always come together for "sahanau bhunaktu" where the food becomes delicious because we eat together.
