Jack and Jill of America, Inc - Pomona Area Jack & Jill is a family organization dedicated to developing our children by providing cultural, educational, recreational & community service experiences.

Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated is a nationwide organization with over 225 chapters in seven geographic regions encompassing 35 states and the District of Columbia. The Pomona Area is part of the Fabulous Far West Region, which has 27 chapters throughout the states of Arizona, California, Nevada, Washington, and Alaska. The Pomona Area Chapter was accepted as a provisional chapter at the Na

tional Convention in Chicago in July of 1982 and later chartered as the San Gabriel Valley Chapter. Due to the growth in the valley, and the establishment of the West Covina Chapter and the Inland Empire Chapter, the San Gabriel Valley Chapter was renamed the Pomona Area Chapter. Mother members are dedicated to building future African-American leaders. We emphasize the importance of family relationships, establishment of life-long friendships, cultural and educational experience, African-American history, community service and philanthropic giving.

Huge congratulations to our Far West Region Fellows—and a special, thunderous shout‑out to our very own Chapter President, Fellow Phelisha Licerio, 2026 graduate of the MSTNLA!

We also honor Past Chapter President Lisa Buffong, who served as the cohort’s Leadership Chair, representing Pomona with unmatched grace, professionalism, and that signature excellence our chapter is known for.
