In September, supporters in communities across the country will participate in the St. Jude Walk. This exciting, family-friendly event helps raise funds to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Today, the Pomona Area Chapter honors the life and legacy of Carole Robertson, a bright, compassionate 14‑year‑old whose light was tragically taken in the 1963 Birmingham church bombing. Her spirit continues to inspire our commitment to justice, education, and community uplift. We remember her not only for the life she lived, but for the future she deserved.
Her legacy lives in us.

The Powerful Pomona Area Chapter is bursting with pride today!
Huge congratulations to our Far West Region Fellows—and a special, thunderous shout‑out to our very own Chapter President, Fellow Phelisha Licerio, 2026 graduate of the MSTNLA!

We also honor Past Chapter President Lisa Buffong, who served as the cohort’s Leadership Chair, representing Pomona with unmatched grace, professionalism, and that signature excellence our chapter is known for.

These two phenomenal leaders continue to elevate the Far West Region and shine a brilliant spotlight on the Pomona Area. We celebrate you, we appreciate you, and we are cheering loudly for all you’ve accomplished and all that’s still ahead.
