Jiu-Jitsu Tribe identifies worthwhile social projects that lack adequate resources which are often absence of proper facilities, equipment, and leadership compensation. Our Mission: Live Jiu-Jitsu aims to inspire positive change in the lives of impoverished communities through the study and implementation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Through the use of this “gentle art,” we plan to provide an enriching
learning environment through programs lead by top-class instructors. We provide opportunities for students to embrace the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while enhancing their livelihood. Through financial support and donations, we create hope, ultimately creating champions not only in competition, but champions in life. Our Goal: We wish to minimize the barriers that hinder children and young adults from beginning their life long journey of Jiu-Jitsu. This is accomplished by providing support to both individuals and organizations so that they may prosper. Our Funding: A majority of our contributions come from the the private donations of Jiu-Jitsu practitioners. [We are in the process of ensuring that future donation will be tax deductible]. We are also supported by Jose Aldo, who donates his MMA memorabilia that we sell on eBay’s Giving Works. Our Staff: The three founding members are supported throughout the entire Jiu-Jitsu community.
