AnthemGathering is a regional faith community that seeks to do justice, love kindly and walk humbly with God and others. We seek to be a faith community that lives out the Gospel and Unconditional Love of Jesus Christ. How do we do this as an emergent faith community? We strive to be a progressive and emergent faith community who strives to live out Micah 6:8 “He has showed you, O
man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
Our Values |
Our Code at AnthemGathering is based on the principle of reaching people with the life-changing message of the Inclusive Gospel and Unconditional Love of Jesus Christ. We believe having our code helps us develop a unified sense of commitment in seeing people far from The Creator raised to life in Christ. As this congregation and ministry continues to grow, these values may evolve based on our experiences, successes, and failures. We don’t believe they are for every church, but they are values that make AnthemGathering unique. Our Code is simply 10 values that keep the vision clear. We want to Cultivate a Culture of Love; A culture of Love that calls us to do more than expected, Teaches us that EVERYONE matters, Reminds us that it's all in the details and the small things and Inspires us to recognize, honor and celebrate those who add value to our lives and our congregation and We Believe all people can add value to our lives, our community, our congregation and the body of Christ. Through This CORE VALUE we as a faith community make a commitment to do our very best TO LIVE OUT THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST through the following values:
1 - We Believe Jesus Is The Center of our life.
2 - We Value Each Other & Glorify God, our Creator; Through worshiping together, serving Jesus' church and being in intentional community with each other.
3 - We will be fully inclusive, welcoming all people into Jesus' church; We will not abuse this by getting people into the doors of the church and then giving them an ultimatum.
4 - We Are Spiritual Contributors, Not Spiritual Consumers.
5 - We Are Faith Filled and Big Thinking Visionaries.
6 - We Want To Be Known What We Accept, Not What We Are Against.
7 - We Will Not Take Jesus & The Church For Granted.
8 - We will lead the way with Intentional Generosity.
9 - We will be intentional about what we are called to do as a local faith community. We will be intentional about social justice; helping, serving and fighting for the poor, the needy, the widows, the orphans, the sick, the disadvantaged, the homeless and those who have had their rights taken from them.
