The Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Arizona stands firmly with VFW National in condemning the vandalism of the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.

This memorial honors the 16 million Americans who served during World War II, including more than 400,000 who gave their lives in defense of our nation and our freedoms. It is a sacred place of remembrance and reflection—not a place for vandalism or destruction.

As VFW National Commander Cory Geisler stated, our memorials belong to every American and deserve the dignity and respect owed to the generations whose service and sacrifice they commemorate. The VFW is calling for a swift investigation, accountability for those responsible, and the restoration of the memorial.

The Department of Arizona joins that call.

We must never forget the sacrifices of our Greatest Generation, and we must ensure the memorials built in their honor are protected and respected.

ARIZONA VFW and Auxiliary members at VFW National Convention in Reno....

AZ will be meeting at the Silver Legacy lobby at 4pm today (Friday) to go as a group and check out the hospitality rooms and spend some time as a team, please join us if you are able and available!

This $10 registration will be briefed by the committee at Staff call, then if approved there will go to the CofA for final approval. There is much information and reasoning not yet being openly discussed, but rumors are plentiful. HELP the situation and get informed at staffing!
