Looking for a way to make an impact in a way that directly loves on kids entering DCS care?!?

Foster Arizona is filling 300 bags full of essentials for children who enter the DCS placement center. The bags contain hygiene items ( dental kit, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, loofa), socks, snacks, and a small care item (stuffed animal) all in a reusable drawstring bag. While it may not seem like a lot, these bags go a long way in letting these kiddos know that they are supported and loved by the community around them.

Our clients' wish lists are simple. 🎄 They want a safe home, to be reunited with family, education, health and dental care, to matter. They want a chance. Our clients have often been in unsafe, stressful situations for months with no end in sight.

Without an ID they are stuck. There is no pathway to ending their homelessness. State IDs cost just $12 and birth certificates can cost up to $50 depending on where they are coming from. Imagine having no way to get these documents. The cost and address are huge barriers for those experiencing homelessness.

We are proving solutions to both of these obstacles every day at the Homeless ID Project.
