Creating best-day-ever days for individuals with differentabilities, by providing opportunities to participate in recreational and social activities. Team ASA is a non-profit organization that provides financial support for children and adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, enabling them to join clubs, organizations and leagues that foster a sense of self, a sense of team, and an

extended family. From bowling with friends on Saturday mornings, to swimming the third leg for his team's relay, to taking home Special Olympics Arizona's "Most Inspirational Athlete" award for Team Tempe at the Fall 2008 games, Asa Lynn Draper radiated positivity, light and sportsmanship. Despite the physical challenges he experienced due to Neurofibromatosis, which included being legally blind and partially deaf, he lived, loved, and played like a champion...as if every day was a gift. It is in his memory that we provide those stand-up-and-cheer opportunities to others, like Asa, who just need a little extra team spirit.

We’re still spreading smiles and style to Special Olympics athletes… last year’s fundraiser allowed us to give Team Tempe new cheerleading uniforms! 📣

For the last 10 years, Team Asa has adopted a group home for Christmas through . This year, we met our friends from 47th place for a morning at OdySea Aquarium🐠 followed by a delicious lunch at .az. Then the Team Asa team loaded up the bus with presents 🎁 for the guys to open on Christmas morning.

Team Asa loves being able to support Jordan’s Social Group! Jordan loves having fun with friends in the community and has grown his group over the years with monthly gatherings. In November, Team Asa partnered with our friends at who set us up for a fun day of crafts! We had pizza, created 3D art and enjoyed a lot of time with our friends. 💚
