The 2027 ACCIS Equity & Innovation Summit is headed to Atlanta! Join colleagues from across the ACCIS community February 21–23, 2027 for three days of connection, learning, and conversation hosted across Spelman College, Emory University, and Georgia Institute of Technology.

For now, mark your calendars and start getting excited for Atlanta! Registration opens October 14. More details about programming, registration, and this year’s Summit experience are coming soon.

ACCIS member Todd Fleming ('Iolani School) had the chance to visit Cal Poly Maritime Academy's training ship, the Golden Bear, when it docked in Honolulu! Here were some of Todd's takeaways:

"Following its merger with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly Maritime Academy is the only degree-granting maritime academy on the West Coast of the U.S. Each summer, cadets in their first and third years set sail on a global journey aboard a fully operational, 500-foot floating classroom and laboratory. Students from HI, OR, WA and the Pacific Territories qualify for in-state tuition."
