"Engaging Veterans One Event at a Time"
VALORS VETERAN COMMUNITY was created to do actual Veteran Engagement ... To Engage with Veterans with building camadere by engaging with socials, attending movies, sporting events, volunteering in the community and races, Cookouts, Veteran Resource Events as well as listening, walking, talking, riding bike, running, swimming etc. Also give them the info and resources for help when needed... employment, education and resources. One thing i know for sure as a Veteran myself... I was too proud to ask for any help even though I needed it. That's one thing when your a Veteran WE ALWAYS THINK WE ARE STRONG ENOUGH FOR ANYTHING and actually sometimes we do need to reach out and ask for help. When you engage and build that trust with a Veteran, he/she will more likely ask for help from someone they have built a relationship than someone that just shows up out of the blues. Whatever you can do to help with our cause is more than appreciated. Whether Volunteering, being active with a Veteran (physically or socially), just taking them for a cup of coffee or tea, or just walking around their block where they live or Tempe Townlake it's all up to you on how you ENGAGE with them. Like our motto says "Engaging Veterans One Event at a Time."
