In addition to Continuing Education Scholarship entries, which are due on February 15, we have a number of VFW Auxiliary scholarships and contests with a March deadline, plus there is a VFW scholarship deadline approaching in April.

March 31 - Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest
March 31 - 3-Dimensional Patriotic Art Contest
April 30 - The VFW's “Sport Clips Help A Hero” Scholarship

Please continue to promote these scholarships and contests which benefit children as young as 5 through adults 21+ attending accredited colleges and university programs. Get the word out before it’s too late!

Great Parade today and happy to work with our Comrades at Post 3632 to honor them on this special day! We not only marched in the parade, but were able to share membership information and scholarship and art contest details with Tempe residents who visited Tempe Beach Park after the parade.

We were able to connect the Phoenix Suns with our Jr ROTC in Tempe Union High School District to help present the Colors during the National Anthem for this very special Veterans Day Game!!

The deadline for the VFW Patriot's Pen and Voice of Democracy contests is only TWO WEEKS AWAY. Make sure your local students are working on their entries now, as they must be submitted to Posts no later than the October 31 deadline. This fortnight will fly by, so remind your local school teachers, parents and communities today!
