AAABA and other sister bars supported the Arizona Black Bar’s annual Hayzel B. Daniels Scholarship Dinner which was held at the historic George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center honoring African-American Heritage. The Carver Museum and Cultural Center was the site of a former segregated high school for black students in Phoenix. The Arizona Black Bar organized a sold out event at this museum to highlight and acknowledge the 70th anniversary of the United States Supreme Court decision in Brown V Board of Education. The Arizona Black Bar asks that we support the continuing quest for educational equity, civil rights and continue to fight for justice. Bravo to a beautiful and meaningful night thanks to the Arizona Black Bar.
