Joshua Michael Carro (b. 1982) is a 2026 BMI Award-winning composer, MPSE-nominated music designer, and multimedia artist working at the vanguard of non-linear design.

Under his solo moniker [[[personablack]]], Carro creates immersive sonic environments that combine multi-channel spatial electronics, algorithmic signal degradation, and structural data models influenced by his deep practice of North Indian Classical Tabla. His work deconstructs rhythmic traditions into aggressive, non-linear soundscapes and deep states of psychological suspension.

Experience [[[personablack]]] live at Oh My Ears’ ABSTRACTION on Friday, October 23 at 7 PM at CENTRAL RECORDS
