Higher Octave Healing-ORG Empowering people in our community through music therapy

Providing services in the community and at the Arizona Music Therapy Clinic in Tempe, Arizona, our therapists and support staff provide service to over 250 individuals, groups, and families in the valley each week. We work in a variety of settings meeting many social, emotional, psychological, physical, neurological, and communication needs including: early intervention developmental support; children and teens with developmental disabilities including autism and cerebral palsy; in-patient and community-based hospice and end of life care; nursing home and assisted living facilities; and traumatic brain injury and stroke rehabilitation.

Are you a music therapy student that wants to gain experience working in schools, behavioral health, hospice, and more? Higher Octave Healing’s internship program allows for music therapy students to learn and fine tune their therapeutic, professional, and music skill sets with our team of board-certified music therapists. Looking for a fun way to boost connection and communication? 🎵

At Lexie’s Voice, we’re grateful to partner with Higher Octave Healing, who visits once a week to provide music therapy for our members.

Music therapy is a clinical approach that uses rhythm, instruments and melodies to help individuals with autism build communication skills, support emotional regulation, practice motor skills and connect in a sensory-friendly way.

Thanks to a couple of grants we have secured, we are able to help offset the cost of these weekly sessions and make this meaningful support more accessible for the families we serve.

Simple musical moments can go a long way. We’re so thankful for partners like Higher Octave Healing who help our kids connect, grow and thrive. 🩷
