Lucky Sevan Surf (L7 Surf) is the not-for-profit foundation behind the annual 5-day youth leadership surf camp in San Diego called Lucky Sevan Surf School Expedition that started in 2006 and is available to young men (grommets) 16+, and as of 2013 for young women (wahines) 15+. ngage with life's challenges and embrace these challenges as opportunities for growth. This annual five-day surf camp was established to provide a loving, supportive, and inclusive environment for these experiences. Adult mentors direct each day’s activities. Daily team activities instill communication, inclusion, trust, faith, humility, self-confidence, and physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional discipline as the essential pillars for strength. Surf sessions, daily team-building activities, workshops, meditation/yoga and inspiring devotionals allow each young man to incorporate these principles into his life.
