It is with some sadness that I, Calliope "Callan" Briar Greene have decided to end The Deadbeat Poets Zine. I'm proud I kept this project going for a whole year and opened a door for people to feel comfortable to share their work. However, I need to recognize I can't do it all alone. Additionally, sometimes life gets in the way.

Since I was 14, I've been prolifically writing and try to share what I can. It also means sometimes you need to focus on yourself and your own work.

Thank you to everyone who has ever submitted, been or performed at our events and supported me through creation of zines and more. It really made a difference in my life and I hope it did for others too.

Our website deadbeatpoets-az.com will be updated later today and will be closed by December 16th. Our zines will be offered by email request and featured on our Instagram only. We will no longer offer physical copies.
