We have waited until they had settled in a little.
Please welcome our two newest fur babies to the rescue.
Bandit and Rusty.
We were contacted a few weeks ago about these boys, the owner had passed away and they had no place to go. They had been with two other small dogs and the family was able to take them but these boys were much to big. We went out last Saturday and met them, they are the sweetest boys ever. They are brothers from the same litter, they had been with the owner since they were 2 months old, they will be 2 on the 4th of May. We understand he saved them from being thrown away and abuse. The boys are very sweet happy boys, but unfortunately they had never been out of the yard they lived in, they have never been to a vet and they did not know what a collar or leash was, but with all that said they were very much loved. We have taken it slow with them, the world is a big place when you only know a small part of it.
So we gave them a few days to just get used to be someplace new and then they had their first visit with Dr. Gill. They did amazing, Bandit was a little shy but the moment Dr. Gill walked in he got up greeted him and gave all the girls kisses. Dr. Gill said they are heathly boys, they have a little bit of runny eyes but belives it was just allergies and it has since cleared up.
The boys have been brought UTD on all their vaccines, and microchipped. We are going to give them a few weeks just to relax and have a little fun playing and being dogs then they will be nutered and start a little training and be ready for their furever home. While we don't feel siblings always need to be adopted together, these two brother would be the perfect pair. They love each other dearly. They have a very calm demeanor and love to be with you. We are working on house training and crate training and just doing the basics right now.
So please welcome Bandit and Rusty to our rescue family, we are excited to watch their journey finding a percect furever home. πΎπ‘π
