Rusty and Bandit are just saying hi. They have settled in and are doing great. They have decompressed and are the best boy ever. They had their first training session on Sunday and did great. They are very smart and fast learners.
They will be starting their journey soon looking for their furever homes, they are on the schedule with Dr. Gill tomorrow to be nutered and then a little healing time and they will start back to training and ready to find a wonderful home. We know it is hard but they are so good together we are hoping to find a family looking for 2 great boys.
They will be 2 very soon, so the perfect age.
We will do a little photo shoot with them once they are healed to show how handsome they are.

Stop by and say Hi.. Artemis is giving tons of kisses..

We have waited until they had settled in a little.

Please welcome our two newest fur babies to the rescue.
Bandit and Rusty.

We were contacted a few weeks ago about these boys, the owner had passed away and they had no place to go. They had been with two other small dogs and the family was able to take them but these boys were much to big. We went out last Saturday and met them, they are the sweetest boys ever. They are brothers from the same litter, they had been with the owner since they were 2 months old, they will be 2 on the 4th of May. We understand he saved them from being thrown away and abuse. The boys are very sweet happy boys, but unfortunately they had never been out of the yard they lived in, they have never been to a vet and they did not know what a collar or leash was, but with all that said they were very much loved. We have taken it slow with them, the world is a big place when you only know a small part of it.

So we gave them a few days to just get used to be someplace new and then they had their first visit with Dr. Gill. They did amazing, Bandit was a little shy but the moment Dr. Gill walked in he got up greeted him and gave all the girls kisses. Dr. Gill said they are heathly boys, they have a little bit of runny eyes but belives it was just allergies and it has since cleared up.

The boys have been brought UTD on all their vaccines, and microchipped. We are going to give them a few weeks just to relax and have a little fun playing and being dogs then they will be nutered and start a little training and be ready for their furever home. While we don't feel siblings always need to be adopted together, these two brother would be the perfect pair. They love each other dearly. They have a very calm demeanor and love to be with you. We are working on house training and crate training and just doing the basics right now.

So please welcome Bandit and Rusty to our rescue family, we are excited to watch their journey finding a percect furever home. πŸΎπŸ‘πŸ’ž

Our hearts are with Sandy and Jeff. Nikki was the most amazing little girl. Sandy has agreed to foster her and get her whatever she needed. until she recovered and was healthy, but the moment she met this sweet girl she knew she would never leave. I still remember sitting with her after her surgery, I made sure I was there everyday and the hospital let me sit with her, but the day she was well enough for Sandy to take her, Nikki never gave me a second look, she knew who her angel was and she was by her side since 2014. Sandy had saved her at the very last moment. Nikki was the second fur baby that had Sandy as their angel, our first was Pelo, which is how we met. Sandy Naples my heart is broken for you and Jeff, I know she was your girl and the love that she had for 12 years could never be matched.. Thank you my friend for making her life one of the best ever possible.

From Sandy and Jeff post:..
We said goodbye to our sweet Nikki todayi. We rescued her in 2014 just in the Nic of time. She was already down by the euthanasia room. She had a fractured femur and the last few months have been really hard on her. I made this the first year she with us. We were so blessed to have her as part of our family. I'll see you at the rainbow bridge. We had a nick name for her aka Crumb Hunter. There was never a crumb she didn't find. Even this morning she found a few. This one has been the hardest goodbye ever. My girl!!

Our beautiful girl Artemis will be hanging out with some friends tomorrow at Pet Supply Plus in Yorba with Land of the Dog Rescue. Please stop by and say hi and find your new best friend..

ARTEMIS is approx 4 years old. She has had a sad rough start to her short life but she has spent the last few months learing how to be a dog and that the world is not so scary. She is very affectionate and loves being your side kick. She does well with kids and she has been fine with other dogs. She is doing awesome in her training and on her daily 3 mile walks. She is crate trained and house broken. She is spayed and UTD and microchipped. She is a wonderful sweet goofy girl.

We wanted to do a little fundraiser for our seniors, they are needing a few extras special things and our senior boy Axel is still struggling with his autoimmune disorder and his medication is costly but we have finally found a combination that is working for him and vet visits are biweekly to check his liver and kidney function. He had a tough time these past 6 months, but he is still a happy boy.
So we thought we would sell some of our T-Shirts. We have all sizes.. S. M. L. XL. XXL, they are unisex.

They are 15.00 each and shipping is included. We have Zelle, Venmo, and you can also jump on our website and hit the donation button. Then just message me your shipping information.

I convinced the kids to model them... And Axel is modeling his Jammies that he likes to wear..
