As the Youth Leadership Program of The Empowerment Center, Generation F.O.U.N.D. provides an outlet for education, mentorship, and the arts to reach the young people in our community. In a world that expects youth to be lost, Generation F.O.U.N.D. equips young people to rise above the status quo as difference-makers in the classroom, workforce, and amongst peers. We also seek to provide a safe hav
en for self-expression through Open Mic Nights held every fourth Friday of the month. Local teens are given a platform to share their creative gifts and talents, which in turn creates an atmosphere of positivity, self-acceptance, and a “you-can-do-it” attitude they’ll take with them into every day life. With the funds raised through Adulting Classes, Strength Quest Programs, Youth Leadership Academy, and community donations, we can provide college scholarship funds, and send local youth on mission trips to third world countries to continue making a difference at every turn. At Generation F.O.U.N.D., we encourage youth to learn and to teach, to receive and to give back, to be empowered and to empower others in return.
