BACK TO ART. BACK TO COMMUNITY.

After a summer pause, Temecula Valley Art League is back!
Join us Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 5:00–7:30 PM for an evening of art, inspiration, conversation, and community.

Our featured demonstrator is Laura Ryan, mixed-media artist, who will introduce us to the creative possibilities of gel plates and show you how this fascinating process can turn simple layers, textures, colors, and experimentation into unique works of art.

Laura Ryan is a multi-media artist, specializing in painting and textile art.

Her artwork has been featured in publications including Pages magazine, Somerset Studio magazine, and Cloth Paper Scissors. She is a self-taught artist whose creative journey has been enriched by workshops in abstract and expressionist painting, metalworking, and printmaking. Inspired by the beauty of nature and the places she has visited and holds with fondness, her work reflects both memory and emotion. In addition to landscapes and nature-inspired pieces, she is drawn to portraits, where she captures fleeting moments in time with expressive lines and artistic gestures rather than fine details. Her art is a blend of observation and feeling, aiming to evoke the essence of her subjects rather than their exact likeness.

There is something special about a painting that makes you want to step into the scene.

CRAWFORD’S RANCH by TVAL artist Shirley Stoner captures the quiet character and beauty of the countryside through her artistic eye.

A beautiful original work for anyone who appreciates landscapes, rural California, and the feeling of a place preserved on canvas.

Every TVAL meeting is more than an art gathering, it's where creativity finds community.

Our June meeting was filled with inspiration as our invited speakers art generously shared techniques, experience, and creative insight, reminding us that artists grow stronger when they learn from one another. Special Thanks to Jack Ragland and Sheryl Stradling for their shared art tips.

Members proudly presented their artwork for monthly judging, celebrating not only artistic achievement, but also the courage to create, learn, and share their unique vision. Throughout the evening, conversations flowed, friendships grew, and artists encouraged one another in an atmosphere where everyone, from beginners to accomplished professionals, is welcomed and supported.

As we close another successful season, we're grateful for the talented artists who continue to inspire, mentor, and challenge one another, keeping creativity alive one brushstroke at a time.

If you've been looking for more than just a place to paint, if you're seeking community, mentorship, artistic growth, peer recognition, and lifelong learning, we invite you to discover the Temecula Valley Art League.

Become part of a creative community where artists encourage artists, friendships flourish, and every meeting offers a new opportunity to learn, exhibit, and grow.

Join us this September and see why so many artists call TVAL their creative home.
