iritual healing of orphans and others at risk by supporting a network of faith-based organizations primarily in Mozambique. Who We Are

We are a nondenominational United States based Christian organization dedicated to providing resources to faith based organizations operated by nationals in Mozambique which care for orphans and others at risk. It is our goal to work mainly through those organizations in-country which are functioning to meet the physical and spiritual needs of these children who are truly the poorest of the poor. Our board is motivated by the belief that every child should have the opportunity to reach his or her greatest God given potential and by the statement that pure religion in the sight of God is to visit orphans and widows in their distress. Vision Statement

If we accomplish our mission to provide the support necessary for our in-country partners to meet the daily needs of the children, provide them with the opportunity for an education and job training, and meet the medical, emotional and spiritual challenges they face, then our efforts will be used by God to physically heal the children, strengthen their relationship with Him and break the cycle of poverty. This network will result in changing the lives of the orphans for the better and overcome the horrible effects of poverty. We would like to see children who will grow in their faith, become physically healthy and be prepared to become contributing members of a community. The board of directors has committed to personally meet all administrative costs so that 100% of all donations will be used to help the children!

In addition to helping orphans, Caring for Orphans Mozambique - CFO-MOZ is dedicated to helping widows like this beautiful woman who has lost her ability to walk. In Mozambique, widows are often cast aside and forgotten. We work to provide them with shelter, support, love and sustenance.

This is a picture of the original 10-member board of Caring for Orphans—Mozambique (CFO-MOZ) (www.caringfororphans.com). The current board is the same, except that Chris and Elaine Falcioni have retired and Ian Smith sadly passed away over 2 years ago. We seven are celebrating 13 years of exciting and ever-changing work with orphans, widows and the other vulnerable people in the country of Mozambique.

Whether you are familiar with us or not, we invite you to join us in our work in Mozambique. CFO-MOZ is not just the board members, but it is each donor, each prayer partner and every leader we are involved with. Each is an intricate and vital part of all that is accomplished. Stay tuned to hear stories of changed lives, wells dug for communities, homes built for widows, necessary school funds covered, literacy training given, spiritual leadership, provisions made for food, medicine administered and more.

Please join with us. Caring for the needs of others brings a sense of purpose and satisfaction in life. This is an opportunity to be involved in giving out of the abundance we have.
