We are honored to have received a Club of Excellence award at Rotary District 5330 Celebration by Governor Nyron McLean, accepted by our phenomenal President Jennifer Smith.

Kevin Willis was also presented with an award for his outstanding service as District Interact Chair, and Carissa Gerry was one of two recipients of the Assistant Governor of the Year award.

As a club, we’ve strived to embody the spirit of the “Unite for Good” theme this Rotary year, with key collaborations established with Rotary Club of Murrieta, Temecula Sunrise Rotary, Rotary Club of Temecula, and Rotary Club of French Valley for various service projects and/or fundraisers. We accepted the challenge from Governor Nyron to “Unleash the Power of Rotary” and could not be more proud of the ways in which we have given back locally and globally to those in need, and any more excited by the amplified impact of our collaborative efforts.

Congrats to our dedicated members, and fellow Rotarians, for a wonderfully busy Rotary year. 💙💛

Last night we helped award scholarships to three deserving students from the Walter “Bill” Cary, Jr. Scholarship Fund! These scholarships were presented by members Steve Amante and Dianne Hoffman.

The Walter “Bill” Cary, Jr. Scholarship Fund was created by our club in honor of the late Bill Cary, Jr., whose legacy as a husband, father, business owner, and Philanthropist continues to positively impact the community. Bill was a long-time resident of Temecula and member of the Rotary Club of Old Town Temecula, known for his generosity and passion for helping others. Bill also served as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County.

May is Rotary International Youth Services Month, and what better way to commemorate it than by putting another inspiring Rotary District 5330 Youth Leadership Awards ( ) camp in the books?!

Between the March and May camps, we are incredibly proud to have sponsored 26 campers. With the support and generosity of our fellow Temecula Rotary Clubs (Rotary Club of Temecula and Temecula Sunrise Rotary ), we were able to send all 34 students we interviewed for camp. Now THAT fits the Rotary theme, !
Shout out to our two club members who served on staff and our four club members who served as Discussion Group Leaders at camp. An amazing time was had by all 💙💛

Our RYLA recap meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 27 at 6 PM at Cali Kabob. Be sure to join us to hear student testimonials about their camp experiences, and understand why our club is so passionate about this program!

For Rotarians At Work Day, we participated in a day of service with Inland Valley Habitat For Humanity and the City of Menifee for the annual Menifee Better Together event. Along with the Great Oak High School Interact Club, our team of volunteers helped 25 seniors with yard work as part of the event’s overall beautification and community outreach efforts. 💙💛
