Ballplay-Tellico Ruritan Club Ballplay -Tellico Ruritan Club is a group of citizens working to make our community a better place.

The first Ruritan Club was chartered May 21, 1928, in Holland, Virginia. Since that first club, Ruritan has grown throughout the United States of America, and in doing so, has become "America's Leading Community Service Organization." The slogan of Ruritan is "Fellowship, Goodwill and Community Service."

Y'all...could we ask for better weather than this for the Ramp Festival on Saturday? It's going to be a beautiful day! We hope to see you for a fun day of vendors, music, and of course, ramps!

Bring your lawn chair or blanket if you want to hang out on the lawn, and cash if you're having a ramp dinner with us. (Many vendors take cards, but cell service can be a little patchy in this area, so cash is always a good idea.)

Are you, or do you know someone who is graduating from high school this year? Each year, Ballplay-Tellico Ruritan Club awards a scholarship to a local high school senior who will be attending college, university or a trade school in the fall. If you are interested in applying for this scholarship, please see your guidance counselor or email [email protected] for an application. Deadline to apply is May 15, 2026.

Communication regarding vendor sites should come from Ballplay-Tellico Ruritan Club directly, either through Facebook Messenger or our email account ([email protected]), or through one of our coordinators (Phyllis J or Christine R). NO ONE ELSE from our Club will contact you; if it is any other name, they are not with our Club. If you have any questions, please contact us.
