This weekend, a group of Marine Corps poolees traded their free time for a rake, shovel, and work gloves as they volunteered to clean up the yard of a local Korean War veteran.
From clearing brush and removing debris to restoring pride in a property that holds decades of memories, these future Marines demonstrated that service starts long before earning the title.
The Korean War generation answered our nation’s call when it mattered most. Today, the next generation stepped up to say thank you through action, not words.
