Meet Jax 💙
He is looking for a FURever home!
He is a 9.5yo Weimaraner, he will be 10 on October 20th.
He is an amazing hunting dog for upland game birds and can still hunt but not for as long and as he used to.
Jax is housebroken and has always lived in the house. He goes to the door and cries quietly when he needs to go out. He is e-collar trained and will come with that collar and a dog crate.
Jax loves to play fetch with a bumper. He minds very well – knows sit, come, stay, woe, lie down and he can shake. Right now he gets taken to local farms & public hunting daily to go running.
He is sensitive with his ears. He sleeps on a dog pillow next to our bed or in bed with us. We will send his pillow and his favorite treats. Once attached to you he is very loving and loyal. He loves to snuggle once he gets to know you.
He will be an excellent companion and would do best in a home with no other dogs with older kids (or no kids).
