We still have spaces left for golfers for our Tournament in June! We are hosting a fundraising golf tournament to help raise funds for the Tehachapi Police Foundation. The tournament will be on Friday June 26th at 9AM with check in at 8AM. The cost is $125 per golfer and that includes golf fees, cart and lunch, as well as swag bags. Following the tournament, we will do lunch, give out awards and hold a live auction for some great gifts. A total of 72 golfers will be allowed. This year we are raising funds to help the Police Department purchase a commercial drone, which will be an excellent tool for the Police Officers. On December 4, 2025, the Tehachapi Police Foundation, in collaboration with local law enforcement agencies, will host the annual Shop with a Cop event at the Tehachapi Walmart. This initiative aims to provide 15 deserving children from grades 3 and 4 within the Tehachapi area, an unforgettable holiday experience. The selected children, who are identified as being in need, will have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and enjoy a festive shopping trip with officers.

The Foundation is seeking nominations from the public to help identify children who would benefit from this program. To nominate a child, please provide the child's name, address, and contact information, along with a brief description of their circumstances. Nominations should be submitted via email to [email protected] by November 11, 2025.

The Tehachapi Christmas Parade is Sat Dec 7, starting at 5:30pm. There is a new parade route this year, starting along F St and turning at Robinson to Tehachapi Bl and ending at the Christmas tree at the Depot. The city will LIVESTREAM the parade on Facebook and will feature our new announcing team, Silas & Stetson Costelloe. Thank you to the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce for hosting this great event again this year!
