Bright Side Manor was delighted to welcome First Community Baptist Church and Pastor Rick for a special visit with our residents! We’re grateful for the time, kindness, and connections shared with our Bright Side family. 🫶

At The Bright Side Family, we believe every individual deserves to be heard, respected, and empowered to make their own choices.

This year’s theme, “Join Us at the Table,” reminds us that mealtime is about so much more than food. It’s about comfort, culture, cherished traditions, friendship, and connection. Every resident deserves a seat at the table—and a voice in the choices that shape their daily lives.

Throughout October, we celebrate the dignity, independence, and rights of every person receiving long-term care and support. Because at The Bright Side Family, respect, choice, and dignity are always on the menu! ❤️

👀 SPOTTED: The Bright Side Family out and about! 💙

Kathleen and Nicole represented The Bright Side Family at the Bergen County Annual Senior Festival on September 24th at beautiful Van Saun County Park! 🌳☀️

They spent the day connecting with seniors, families, and community members, sharing what makes The Bright Side Family special and spreading the word about the services we provide to support older adults in our community. 💙

From affordable assisted living to PALS (Portable Assisted Living Services), Senior Checks, and more, we’re always looking for ways to make sure older adults have the support, resources, and choices they need to live life on their own terms.

Do you love a good game of Dominoes, Scrabble, or Rummikub? 🀄️🎯

Our residents at Bright Side Manor are looking for friendly faces to join them for some good old-fashioned fun, laughter, conversation—and maybe a little friendly competition! 😉

We’re seeking volunteers who would enjoy spending time with our residents while playing games such as:

🁢 Dominoes
🔤 Scrabble
🎲 Rummikub

No special experience required. Just bring your smile, your game face, and a little time to share. ❤️

Because sometimes the best thing you can give someone is your time and your company.

This World Mental Health Day, The Bright Side Family reminds everyone that mental health matters at every age.

A friendly conversation, a listening ear, or simply letting someone know they’re not alone can brighten a day and lift a spirit.

Let’s continue to break the stigma, check in on one another, and make sure everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

Because caring for one another is what community is all about. 💙
